Books are scattered throughout the house, and the rooms carry the names of stories.
The paintings are part of the same idea.
Dream Guincho is also a living gallery, where you will find works by the painter and partner Carlos Vasconcellos.

Strategist. Professor. A curious mind in constant motion.

Rosário Pinto Correia has built a career at the intersection of strategy, communication and leadership. With an academic background that includes Católica Lisbon, Universidade Nova de Lisboa and an MBA from the Wharton School, she has spent decades working where ideas meet decision-making.

Her professional path crosses academia, international business and corporate leadership. She has held executive roles in global communication and marketing environments, led organisations in different markets and continues to advise companies and institutions on strategy, internationalisation and communication.

But beyond titles and institutions, what defines Rosário is a particular way of thinking. Clear, rigorous and deeply curious about the forces that shape markets, organisations and people.

That curiosity does not live only in her professional life. Rosário is a natural traveller. Whenever she can, she travels. Not simply to visit places, but to understand them, to observe how people live, how spaces are created and how cultures express themselves.

Many of those journeys, and the endless curiosity that drives them, quietly shaped the idea that would later become Dream Guincho.

In many ways, the house reflects her own sensibility. Books appear everywhere because for Rosário there is no idea of home or well-being without books. Furniture, objects and small details collected over time come from different travels and from family territories, each carrying a story that eventually found its place here.

Dream Guincho is therefore not only a project. It is a composition of memories, ideas and discoveries gathered along the way.

Carlos Vasconcellos

Businessman. Painter. Creator of soul-states.

For more than four decades, Carlos Vasconcellos built a remarkable international career in business. A strategist by instinct and a leader by nature, he is known for a rare combination: clarity of vision and the quiet authority of someone whose word carries weight.

But alongside the corporate world, another language was slowly taking shape.

For nearly thirty years, painting has been his parallel territory, not a professional ambition but a vital necessity. Self-taught and instinctive, Carlos paints the way some people write or compose, as a way of thinking, feeling and making sense of the world.

His work does not follow technical rules. It follows emotional truth.

In his canvases, colour becomes language, sometimes intense, sometimes restrained, always deeply personal. Each painting reflects what might be called a state of the soul, moments of energy, turbulence or quiet harmony translated into gesture and colour.

The Dream Guincho project also reflects a partnership with Rosário Pinto Correia built over many years of dialogue, trust and shared curiosity about ideas and people. Different paths, different disciplines, but a common sensibility for projects that carry meaning.

For Carlos, Dream Guincho is more than a place he identifies with. It is, in many ways, a living gallery. Every painting in the house is his, allowing the space itself to become part of the story his work tells.

And when conversations happen, Carlos speaks about art the same way he paints: freely, intuitively and with genuine pleasure. His natural warmth and contagious friendliness make those moments feel less like explanations and more like shared discoveries.

At Dream Guincho, his paintings do not hang on walls as decoration. They live there.

Nestled in the quiet embrace of Malveira da Serra, Alcabideche, perfectly suspended between the mystical Sintra mountains and the Atlantic charm of Cascais: Dream Guincho is a Michelin Guide-listed boutique retreat featuring just eight intimate rooms.

Located merely a five-minute drive from the wild beauty of Guincho Beach and thirty minutes from Lisbon Airport, our home is designed for unhurried moments.

To ensure a seamless arrival and restful departure, check-in begins at 4:00 PM, with check-out by 11:00 AM.

Here, time slows down.
Your stay is framed by a leisurely breakfast, served from 8:30 to 11:00 AM, and our signature afternoon tea at 5:00 PM, both included in your rate, while intimate dinners can be prepared upon reservation.

The estate invites you to unwind by the outdoor heated pool (welcoming guests from May to October, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM), or find balance in our sauna, jacuzzi, gym, and snooker room.
